View from Double Peak Park in the hills of San Marcos, California
Just after I got out of the car to take a few photos the rain came drizzling down.
Great views from there. It has a few picnic tables and some hiking trails.

Buccanner Beach, Oceanside 1-4-2017
This little creek running out to the ocean is the Loma Alta Creek. This is one of the rare times that I have seen it running across the surface. Usually the creeks and rivers in this neck of the woods do not have enough energy to make it to the ocean. Even though there must be some fresh/salt water exchange below the sandy surface. There has been some winter rains here recently.
This is looking south to San Diego. That is Point Loma
on the center horizon.
